This museum takes you on a journey to understand the fascinating interconnectedness of life on earth. It remains a functional university teaching space where exhibits are catalogued into draws and bottles. Signature displays of landmark importance are setup with information plaques in a bunker-style exhibition space below the ground. The ceiling is adorned by a twenty six metre blue whale skeleton, the largest living creature on earth.
A fantastic 'rainy day' activity that will suit the whole family. I recommend planning your visit to coincide with a scheduled event. Tours are sometimes run by unbelievably enthusiastic zoology students who will impart many of their learnings.
