Vietnamese in Mt Pleasant

John

Mt Pleasant has its fair share of fresh and healthy Vietnamese food, if you are dying for a Pho this is the place to go!

Vancouver's south east Asian food scene is rapidly developing with new restaurants popping up across the city. Cambie, Main and Fraser streets have some of the best options around which will suit any taste. Here are some of my favourites.

  • Anh and Chi: vibrant brother and sister restaurant with consistently outstanding food. The basics are done really well. I've always loved Vietnamese Crepes and they wont disappoint here. Call in advance as takeaway orders sometimes take more than thirty minutes. Link

  • Viet House: very traditional and affordable food on Cambie Street. Love their spiced duck. Link

  • Pho Goodness: founded in 2011 there are now two restaurants across Vancouver. Lemongrass chicken Banh Mi are great for lunch. Link

  • Bonjour Vietnam: newcomer to Fraser Street. High-energy restaurant serving decently priced meals and memorable cocktails. Mango salad with grilled prawns is a standout. Link
