Ski for 24 hours

John

Updated: May 16, 2020

Once a year Grouse Mountain opens for a continuous 24 hour period over the spring skiing season. This is complementary for pass holders and the restaurant hosts a brunch dedicated to the brave early bird skiers. There are fireworks and other free activities for the family too.

As a beginner I found it pretty challenging arriving at 4am when the conditions were really icy and slippery. Watching the sunrise at the top of 'The Cut' was worth it. Despite waking up in the dark I highly recommend bringing a crew and enjoying a unique sunrise ski or snowboard 'on piste'.
