Pork hock & glühwein at the Christmas Market

John

Updated: May 17, 2020

The annual Vancouver Christmas Market helps to create festive cheer downtown. A series of wooden huts are erected in the waterfront precinct. If not raining there are views towards the mountains and North Vancouver. The markets are open throughout the afternoon and into the evening. It is worthwhile signing up to the email list for discounted online ticket prices and to help skip the queues.

Once inside you will find gift stalls, live music and a whole bunch of food vendors. The glühwein is deliciously warming and pairs nicely with pork hock. It rarely snows in December in Vancouver but this is still a worthwhile catch up with friends.
