Pemberton farm visits

John

After you've hiked and biked your way around Garibaldi, a couple of nights in Pemberton might be just what you need to decouple from city life.

Following the infamous sea to sky traffic there's a definite sense of calm abounding this cute mountain-side town of three thousand people. You are surrounded by forest trails and the locals will give you directions to the top hidden downhill cycling opportunities in B.C. There's an old train carriage converted to a coffee shop and some of the best Thai food in Canada.

If you have a few days it is worth checking out two nearby farms which offer memorable and unique experiences.

North Arm Farm: a family farm experience. This active business is spread across fifty three acres and has all the authentic sights and sounds. You can feed the pigs, pick blueberries or dine on home-made lunches and gelato.

Beer Farmers: locally grown organic farm which has been owned by one family for four generations. Dogs are welcome and there are rotating beers on tap.
