Consistently awesome Heritage Asian comfort food

John

Vancouver is an extremely saturated market for Asian food. One of my favourite offerings it the Heritage Asian Eatery which has a couple of outlets in the downtown area.

I go regularly because I am one hundred percent confident I am going to love whatever meal I order. The food quality is consistently high and the staff are always friendly and efficient. Initially the menu takes a bit of navigating but my recommendation is to try the Dan Dan pork noodle bowl. The thick udon is succulent and the pork and cucumber sauce has a delightful onion crunch.

If you love duck then you are in the right place! Their bbq duck noodle soup is authentic and very decently sized for the price. Vegetarians will go bonkers for the eggplant which has a tasty vinegary zing. If you only want to snack and share then the bao and wings are top picks.
