I've found Chewies to be the most reliable for quality and price. Their menu generally has three or four different varieties and there are burgers and beers on tap for those who don't like seafood. Great Kitsilano location.

Joe Fortes has late afternoon options in the downtown area and Hook (English Bay) is the place to come for the best beach vibes.
