I am an Australian doctor originally from Perth. I moved to Vancouver for professional development in 2018 and fell in love with the place. I made many friends who also temporarily called 'Rain City' home, these are our personal insights into the region.
The lower mainland of British Columbia has unparalleled access to some of the most breathtaking natural beauty. People are super relaxed and helpful but it can take some time to develop a network here.
This blog is designed to help anyone maximise their experience in Canada and squeeze every last drop of inspiration out of your gap year, student time, extended holiday or sabbatical placement.
I am employed and am not trying to become an 'influencer', all experiences have been self-financed and photos are from my smartphone unless otherwise indicated.
